Yes, the beltway open in '64 and construction started on the temple in '68

which surprises me, I thought it was much later than that basically because I remember that. Maybe I remember when it was finished better.

Just a lot of old school wealthy areas at the time there, unlike really the only place where urban DC stuck out into the planned corridor.
